Megan was born and raised here in New Bern, North Carolina. She has worked full-time at the local hospital since September 2011 and part-time for Eastern Equine Associates since April of 2014. She is currently going to school to acquire prerequisites for veterinary school with plans to apply next fall. Megan has an interest in holistic medicine and will integrate it, along with osteopathy, into her practice of both large and small animal veterinary medicine. She has a wonderful QH x Arab pony – Pippen, and Great Dane – Freya; both of which have taught her a lot more than she could ever have expected. Animals have been her passion since she was a little girl and it is her greatest dream to be able to make a difference in an animal’s life. Megan hopes to open her own rescue one day or at the least offer her services to shelters and rescues pro bono.
